Sept '20...

Help me! I'm stuck in a whirly swirly vortex of time lost! September is already over? WTF???

1. Blog Play: I made a few minor cosmetic updates. I think I just need to pull the trigger on this and get it out in the wild. Is anyone willing to run it through some paces? Let me know in the comments or via email.

2. Music Play: I got some cassettes from Graveface Records out of Savannah, Georgia, and they're all amazing.

First up is Blush by Night School. This is fuzzy, grungy, snarly, ethereal surf rock by two women who know how to rock. And, not to be sexist or anything, but I love female voices

Next is Denervation by Kid Dakota, which reminds me of mid-aughts alt rock. Good album.

Finally, we have Doctor My Own Patience from Serengeti + Sicker Man. Strong electronic music with a deeply resonant male voice powering them. This speaks to me very much.

There's another album from Graveface that I really want. It was out of stock at the time that I got these. Now it's back in stock. Total 80s-inspired darkwave synthpop along the lines of Depeche Mode. Do I do it?

3. Camera Play: My lord, I'm almost out of new cassettes for #MiniMusicMonday. Thankfully I have a few coming in soon from Marty. Those will certainly give him a leg-up in the competition. Hint, hint, Marty.

4. Word Play: I AM ALL CAUGHT UP! You can read the details in my Libroqueue post from a few days ago.

5. Update Play: Done!

Ah, October. My favorite month of the year. What shall ye yield?

Oh. My. God. Have you seen the trailer for Freaky yet? It's a slasher remake of body swap movies like Freaky Friday, Big, Vice Versa, etc., produced by Blumhouse and directed by Christopher Landon. Those last two references not ringing...

Roblox... I don’t get it. Not one bit. But Nathan and all his cousins play it and love it, so I guess that’s cool?
