It’s the last day of the month, so that means it’s time to review my book reading and set my goal books for the next month!

Usually when our DVR service “records” episodes of Saturday Night Live for our season pass, it also records a lead-up classic episode. We usually just delete these trimmed-down hourlong episodes because I just don’t care to revisit old episodes.

For a while, I used the Apple News app on my iPhone to get my daily news fix.

Nathan really digs on popular music. He discovers it mostly from movie soundtracks and YouTube videos and has us add tracks randomly to a playlist we created for him in Spotify.

I was having a spirited debate with some friends regarding a quote in an article about Garth Brooks and his performance at President Biden's inauguration yesterday. The article said, "Brooks has played almost every inauguration since Jimmy Carter’s presidency, save for Ronald Reagan’s and [45]’s."

A few months ago, I found this really cool Instagram account (actually, he found me) that sells physical audio and video media via his home. He doesn't have a bricks-and-mortar storefront, just an online store supported by images on IG.

I knew, three years ago, when it was first announced, that I’d likely enjoy the YouTube Red original series Cobra Kai. I mean, it’s all about The Karate Kid characters Johnny (William Zabka) and Daniel (Ralph Macchio) 34 years after their tournament fight. And I loved that film (and its first sequel) growing up.

The closer we get to Inauguration 2021, the more nervous I get about the fact that the Democratic Party is going to have full control over both the Senate and the House of Representatives as well as the Presidency.

I’ve become a bit of a Bandcamp junkie of late poking around and picking out some new-to-me bands I really enjoy and following musical subgenres so I can receive notifications of new music.

I was pretty happy to have had as many guesses on last week’s #MiniMoviePosterMonday as I had. And with a few of the guesses correct, to boot. The winner was Lynne who, I think, was playing for the first time.

As I’ve got nothing much else worthwhile to say right now, I’m just going to take a moment to point out that I have surpassed the 5,000 post mark on Instagram! WOO!!

For kicks and because it was the holidays, Katie thought it would be cute for the three of us to have “ugly holiday sweater” T-shirts representing some of our favorite holiday movies to wear during the Christmas season.

This is just killing me. Since Katie and I got our Apple Watch and AirPods Pro, respectively, for Christmas, we've been talking about going back in and purchasing AppleCare+ for both items.
