As we close in on the end of this abbreviated month, let’s see how my reading goal progressed!

Katie discovered a new Oreo cookie the other day at the store and I thought I’d take a moment to give an unauthorized, uncompensated review of them. The type? LADY GAGA! 

As I mentioned last week, Nathan has developed an appreciation for The Scorpions. Yes, it has moved beyond just “Rock You Like a Hurricane” into other tracks.

It was 10 years ago this week that my beloved 1997 Ford Ranger kicked the bucket and made way for my 2011 Hyundai Sonata. 

I remember reading all the stories back in the day about how Ben Affleck, while married to Jennifer Garner, ruined her friendship with 13 Going on 30 costar Mark Ruffalo. 

I’ve been a fan of the French electronic duo Daft Punk since I discovered their debut album Homework back in 1997. It was chock full of amazing sounds and it never got old.

I keep forgetting to mention that not only are libraries great because you can check out books, music, movies, ebooks, magazines, games, and video games, but you can also support the library while building up your own media library.

Did you know you could track COVID-19 trends worldwide on Google Maps? I had no idea until I looked today and saw that there was a button to click in the rail that offered a COVID-19 map layer.

I wanted to take a moment to make a very special Happy Birthday wish to the woman of my dreams, my wife, my partner, my love, my Katie. 

It may be blasphemy to say, but I’d argue that the trilogy represented by last week’s #MiniMoviePosterMonday challenge photo is one of if not the best trilogies of films ever. Congrats to my old buddy Eric on the win. 

This is my brain on life right now...

As I’ve stated before, it’s both a blessing and a curse when modern kids movies revisit old music to add to their soundtracks.

It seems to me that if you plow a parking lot and all that remains are snow, ice, potholes, and chunked-up globs of asphalt instead of smooth, clear surface, then, it may be time to consider tearing up the lot and repouring the whole thing. No patches, no crackfill, no microsurfacing... just start it over because, ultimately, it will probably cost less in the long run.

A few weeks ago, my brother contacted me to ask if I was interested in taking back my old Van Halen concert shirt. 

Fourth straight late night of work in a row after having a couple last week as well and some more may happen in the near future. Katie's had anywhere between 5-20 extra hours over her normal full-time load the last month that will likely continue for the next month.

Several of you wanted a post about my AirPods Pro that I got last Christmas. After playing with them for a month and a half, I feel like I can talk about them intelligently enough. Here goes!

While I don't shop at 7-Eleven all that often, I do have their app and I receive emails from being part of their "members club." Why? Because Nathan and I would occasionally go for walks or bike rides during the summer when we needed a break and go there for a Slurpee.

Wow! Whadda January. One for the books, fo sho! Time to move past the headlines and see how I did with goals.
