Jan '21...

Wow! Whadda January. One for the books, fo sho! Time to move past the headlines and see how I did with goals.

1. Music Play: I told you all that I went on a synthwave bender this month. Well, it continued after that post. Here are all the artists I checked out and I enjoyed them all.

Morgan Willis

Dead Astronauts

FM Attack

Oh, and I also checked out an extreme collab album featuring a very large number of Polyvinyl Records artists called Exquisite Corpse.

2. Camera Play: #MiniMoviePosterMonday is proving to be a lot of fun. Every single one has been correctly guessed so far. I like that!

3. Word Play: At the 11th hour, I nailed it. All five books read!

More details and the list of books I plan to read in February can be found in yesterday’s post

4. Fitness Play: I didn’t hit my goal this month. But, when it comes to fitness, I’m okay with striving to reach instead of struggling to stay over, so long as I keep improving.

Anyway, I worked out 12 times. Not a bad start.

5. Update Play: Done!

I’d like a much more sedate February in terms of politics and news, thank you very much.

That is a lot of new music. And 5 books read for January ... wow!

Thanks. Not sure it will pan out as handily in February, though. --
