In our most grandiose attempt at reintegrating ourselves into a world still being ravaged by COVID-19, the three of us went to a minor league baseball game tonight. And it was Harry Potter Night, too!
The place was, maybe, at 30% capacity and I don’t think that was necessarily due to the efforts of the Kane County Cougars to control crowds. We were able to buy our tickets yesterday with zero effort.
But it was still fun to get outside for a few hours and see a game, even if the Cougars got trounced 5-1.
We’re considering an Angels-Mariners game when we go out to LA next month. We’ll see how that goes.
I’ve missed baseball.
