We did something today that we haven’t done in two years… we booked a vacation! And one that involves air travel! That’s something we haven’t done in just shy of 10 years.

Yup, come mid-July, I’m flying to Southern California for a business trip. It’s my new company’s annual meet-up and it’s going to be held in Los Angeles.

Oh, and Katie and Nathan are going with me. On the days when I will be doing company stuff, the two of them will be doing their own thing be it at the pool at the hotel or just tooling around LA. I mean, the event is being held at Terranea. Check this place out…

Sadly we cannot go to Disney or Universal as they are both currently closed to anyone from outside the state of California, but there’s still plenty for them to do.

We’re also heading out there a couple days early for some family time. So if you were worried I was ditching them entirely, fear not.

Now if you’ll just point me in the direction of the nearest In-N-Out Burger to where we’re staying, I’d be much obliged.

WOW!! That's wonderful!

Awesome! FYI - They are allowing out of state visitors to Disneyland starting June 15th.

It better be! 😉

I don’t want to know that. This vacation is expensive enough already.

Awesome! That trip will be a blast!

I’m certainly hoping so!
