Admittedly, I’ve always felt a little anxiety when it comes to vacations. Be it the planning of the trip itself — hotels, activities, transportation, travel docs — or the prep at home to have everything ready for when you go — packing, clean up, security, mail stop, thermostat reprogramming, letting neighbors know — or getting work responsibilities done…

…whatever the case, my stress levels tend to go through the roof in the week or so leading up to departure. 

Compound all that with COVID-19 concerns and the fact that we really haven’t traveled anywhere in the last couple of years so my planning skills are rusty a.f. and… how I’m still standing I’ll never know. 

But I swear I am looking forward to this vacation. Really. I am.
