Ed. Note - I had this all set up and ready to go last night, but apparently never published it or the challenge photo. So I'm backposting this one to the proper day as today is a totally different scheduled post. So then...

I had a big post written up about new TV shows coming out this fall that I was really looking forward to watching.

I don't get much of a chance to use my MacBook Pro these days. Most of my time is spent on the MacBook Air I have for work. So my MBP sits in a stack of computers on top of my desk just chomping at the bit to be used.

Bear with me on this weird little game of Six Degrees of Separation: Nathan Style, will ya?

It’s my old buddy, Stephen H (@gundarkhunter), who chimes in with the only correct guess in what I swore would be an easily guessed #MiniMoviePosterMonday.

Ohmigod. I am so freaking furious with Apple right now and it all has to do with their stupid Emergency S.O.S. settings on iOS.
I dunno how many of you are full-time remote workers or temporary remotes during the pandemic or have already returned to an office or maybe you never left.
Do you remember me mentioning during my whiny writer’s block post about how I want to “just make it to this coming Wednesday”? Curious why?
I love when government agencies aren't on the same page internally.

I was pretty happy that my friend Mike H. guessed last week’s #MiniMoviePosterMonday correctly. After all, it was from a franchise he loves.

It’s always interesting to see what happens when Nathan decides to play with the selfie camera on his iPad.
Sometimes, it's truly a battle to force yourself to keep writing daily on a blog. Most of my daily blogger friends have cut back from doing it daily to mostly daily or just a few times a week while a vast majority have quit entirely.
Happy Friday the 13th, y’all! The holiday that can happen several times a year or… never! But it’s the inconsistency that I love.
I snapped this photo in downtown Arlington Heights, IL, around this time 11 years ago. We were stopping off to buy a gift card for one of Katie’s family members when I saw a broken skateboard ditched on a sidewalk outside a store.

Man, Mother Nature did not want to cut us a break these last three days.
Furrball can’t decide
Reps or Dems or Reps or Dems.
We need a third choice.
Kazza was the only one to chime in with the correct answer of TRON to last week's #MiniMoviePosterMonday. That surprised me. If nothing else, I figured either the pattern or the glowy blue color would've given it away to more people. C'est la vie.

Nathan swears it’s me
but I just cannot see it.
Too much hair up there.
As I announced previously, Katie and I were late to the game on Ted Lasso. Like… we only started watching season 1 in early June if this year. But we tore through it and loved it immensely and now we’re watching along as season 2 airs.

A co-worker had a little technical issue with a SaaS solution at work today. It was similar to one I had a week ago, so I mentioned it and told her what to look for. She did and was able to confirm that what we experienced was the same issue and would likely resolve itself with a little patience. Basically, it was a system glitch that would clear up, but none of her data was lost as she had feared.

About four years ago, I was penciling little sketches and posting them here with haiku accompaniment.
At least I had an excuse for missing #MiniMoviePosterMonday two weeks ago. I was on vacation. Missing it this week? Nope. No excuses. I just forgot it and was mildly obsessed with finishing Outer Banks season 2 with Katie. Hey, we all have our priorities.

Katie and I are officially obsessed with Outer Banks on Netflix. Part angsty teen melodrama… part After the Sunset… part Indiana Jones… part National Treasure.
A mixed bag in July, that's for sure. Let's recap!
