Libroqueue 2021.10…
Well… I’ve made progress on my list of books for the month. I mean, I did read a couple of them, but life happens, right?
Here’s what I planned to read/finish/burn in September:
- Priya Parker's The Art of Gathering: How We Meet and Why It Matters
- Andy Weir's Project Hail Mary
- Stan Lee & Jack Kirby’s Marvel Masterworks: Sgt. Fury and His Howling Commandos
- Ethan Sacks’ Old Man Quill, vol. 2: Nobody’s Fault But Mine
Here’s what I finished…
- Stan Lee & Jack Kirby’s Marvel Masterworks: Sgt. Fury and His Howling Commandos
- Katana Collins’ Batman: White Knight Presents: Harley Quinn
Okay, let’s be honest here. I finished one non-list book and gave up trying to read the other out of sheer boredom after making it about 1/3 of the way through.
Jesus, I can’t even finish graphic novels. WTF is wrong with me??
Something’s gotta give.
For October, maybe, I will finish:
Priya Parker's The Art of Gathering: How We Meet and Why It Matters...
…Andy Weir's Project Hail Mary...
…and Ethan Sacks’ Old Man Quill, vol. 2: Nobody’s Fault But Mine…
And I’m adding two books. One for work and one that arrived in Libby a few days ago.
…Robert Livingston’s The Conversation: How Seeking and Speaking the Truth About Racism Can Radically Transform Individuals and Organizations…
…and Kawai Strong Washburn’s Sharks in the Time of Saviors…
There was a point this year where I was certain my reading goal would be done in July. Now? Who knows.
