Libroqueue 2022.01...
I'm really happy with how my reading goal turned out in 2021. As stated, I'm maintaining the same 48-book goal for 2022, but adding in the Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles 13-book series as part of that count. Given all that, here's how I hope to see January shape up.
Here’s what I planned to read in December:
- Stephen King’s Billy Summers
- Christina Henry’s Lost Boy
- Christopher Moore’s The Stupidest Angel
- Amanda Conner’s Harley Quinn, vol. 1: Hot in the City
- Larry Hama’s G.I. Joe Classics, vol. 1
- Kelly Thompson’s Hawkeye: Kate Bishop, vols. 1-3
Here’s what I finished…
- Stephen King’s Billy Summers
- Christina Henry’s Lost Boy
- Jeff Alulis' NOFX: Hepatitis Bathtub and Other Stories
- Amanda Conner’s Harley Quinn, vol. 1: Hot in the City
- Larry Hama’s G.I. Joe Classics, vol. 1
- Kelly Thompson’s Hawkeye: Kate Bishop, vol. 1 (not 2 & 3)
I gave up on the Stupidest Angel. I just wasn't in the mood for it and then Christmas passed and I ceased to be in the season for it. I only got through one of the three Kate Bishop graphic novels, but reading all three while also reading two other big graphic novels was kind of a reach to begin with, so I'm not holding that over my head too much. I typically read two to three graphic novels each month, max, so that's all good.
When I finished Lost Boy, though, I needed another audiobook and stumbled across NOFX and loved it so I've got another music bio on my list!
For January, I will read/finish:
(75% through with Nathan already) R.L. Stine's Young Scrooge: A Very Scary Christmas Story…
Michelle Zauner's Crying in H Mart...
Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire…
Kelly Thompson’s Hawkeye: Kate Bishop, vols. 2 & 3…
and Stephon Stewart’s Dry…
I'm good with this for now.
