Given all the bullshit going on in this world, it’s nice to have a little giggle to offset the junk. Like when you read this headline…
Today, Nathan went in for oral surgery to remove a backup of teeth in his mouth.
A friend is sending me something from Georgia and provided a tracking number for the package. Based on this tracking number, this package is making some impossible rounds.

I was starting to get a little overwhelmed. My list of books I was actively reading ballooned to six books and I was losing my ability to focus on even one. But in the past few days, I knocked out three. Two of them tonight alone. I’m feeling much better. Thank you for asking.
Lots of people guessed it, but Christa was first with An Affair to Remember.

Today, Katie, Nathan, and I went with our neighbors to the Northern Illinois LEGO Train Club show at the Geneva Public Library.
Katie and I introduced Nathan to a new-to-him animated film, and by way of doing so, re-introduced ourselves after more than two decades… Anastasia.
In my professional life, I am a manual website quality assurance engineer. What does that mean? I take websites that developers build and use non-automated methods to try to break them or make them do things they’re not supposed to do. And when I find things they shouldn’t do, I send bug reports to developers to fix them.
I would like to take a brief respite from the normal drivel I post here to wish a very happy birthday to my beautiful wife. Nathan and I truly love you, hon, and couldn’t navigate our way out of the garage of this crazy ride known as life without you.
By this point in the year, I’m fairly sure I’ve posted Macro Monday photos more on Tuesday than on the day I should be. Oh well.

I’m currently In the market for a new external/primary monitor to attach to my laptop when I’m working from home. A second screen is the only way to go in the QA world!
While the movie Spencer was being made and early into its release, all I ever heard about was how Star Kristen Stewart nailed her role as Princess Diana in this story of a brief moment of her life.
Am I the only one who finds it weird when the same actor plays two different comic book hero/villain roles?

The other day, we bought Nathan and new mattress and box spring for the new bed we built for him a handful of months ago. The problem? Katie and I each drive a Hyundai Sonata. Not exactly the best for getting a mattress and box spring home.
I finished my third book of February earlier tonight, marking my 13th of 2022 out of my 48-book goal.
Sure, nobody guessed last week’s #MiniMoviePosterMonday but I had participation. And that will always be better than a zero-guess challenge photo.

I’m an Apple fan. Have been since 1999 and, no matter how many missteps they make, I’m sure it will remain this way.
It's been a little while since I added any new listings to the Marvel Cinematic Universe list on my Rankings page. I thought it was because I had nothing to add, but apparently I do...

I love that Nathan has his “thing” when it comes to entertainment. Movies, TV shows, music… he certainly has his favorites.
Was it a good start to the New Year? You tell me.
Hey! It wouldn’t be me if Macro Monday photos didn’t happen on Tuesdays every once in a while. Don’t worry, if I renamed it Macro Tuesday, it would happen on Wednesday. So we deal with it and move on.
