Libroqueue 2022.05...
Ten more books. Ten!! What the heck is wrong with me?? Every month I say it has to slow down or stop completely and it’s not. WTH??
Here’s what I planned to read in April:
- Eric Idle’s Always Look on the Bright Side of Life
- Frederik Backman’s A Man Called Ove
- John Carreyrou’s Bad Blood: Secrets and Lies in a Silicon Valley Startup
- James Tynion IV’s Something is Killing the Children, vol. 1
- James Tynion IV’s Something is Killing the Children, vol. 2
- James Tynion IV’s Something is Killing the Children, vol. 3
- James Tynion IV’s Something is Killing the Children, vol. 4
Here’s what I finished…
- Eric Idle’s Always Look on the Bright Side of Life
- Frederik Backman’s A Man Called Ove
- John Carreyrou’s Bad Blood: Secrets and Lies in a Silicon Valley Startup
- James Tynion IV’s Something is Killing the Children, vol. 1
- James Tynion IV’s Something is Killing the Children, vol. 2
- James Tynion IV’s Something is Killing the Children, vol. 3
- R.L. Stine's Night of the Living Dummy (Goosebumps, #7)
- Dave Grohl's The Storyteller: Tales of Life and Music
- Kevin Wilson's Nothing to See Here
- Max Brallier’s The Last Kids on Earth
I decided not to read volume 4 of Something is Killing the Children because it was the start of a new story arc and the subsequent volumes are not available yet and I'd rather just read them all together. So it's getting backburnered for now. Otherwise I read everything I planned plus more!
For May, I will read/finish:
Trevor Noah’s Born a Crime
James Clear’s Atomic Habits: An Easy & Proven Way to Build Good Habits & Break Bad Ones
Clay McLeod Chapman’s Whisper Down the Lane
Melanie Gillman’s As the Crow Flies
Ted Fox’s Showtime at the Apollo: The Epic Tale of Harlem’s Legendary Theater
Clayton Junior’s Wild Thing or My Life as a Wolf
Scott Snyder’s A.D. After Death
Back on the work Book Club train this month and I’m looking forward to it. Gotta be better than the last one.
I loved 'Born a Crime'. Really impactful as well as entertaining.
