I was perusing the r/starwarsblackseries subreddit when I saw this unfortunate photo of a poorly molded Clone Commander Cody and the original poster asking for advice on how to fix it.

I always knew I was going to enjoy Top Gun: Maverick. But I also always figured it would be because it was campy, throwback fun.

608 pages of graphic novels.
4 days.
Can he do it?
Stay tuned.
Despite wanting to be a meteorologist, or maybe in spite of it, Nathan is terrified of the concept of tornadoes. I say “concept of” because he’s never actually seen one.

Nathan’s school had a Fun Run today. Basically you could run a lap around a park or a full mile which was four laps. Nathan opted for one. We’ll work on that.
I got so excited when someone new came forward with a correct guess on last week’s challenge photo. Then I looked on Facebook to confirm and someone else guessed there a few hours earlier. Stupid Facebook.

Last weekend, when we grilled out, I looked at the inside of the grill and could tell I desperately needed to deep clean it.
A longtime resort fixture in the next town north, Pheasant Run, of us caught on fire today. Nobody knows the cause but it was pretty huge.

Wow. When Fitbit says you can only change your profile name once every 60 days, they meant it. I only today was finally able to change the name on my Fitbit account back to Kevin from Nathan.
Martin Shkreli, the pharmaceutical price-gouging douchebag, has been freed from Federal prison early, thus furthering the knowledge that the wealthy can get anything. Lord knows, his douchiness wasn't tempered at all by his time in the slammer. One of the first things he did was post a selfie to Facebook with the caption, "Getting out of real prison is easier than getting out of Twitter prison." Dick.

Taking part in HubSpot’s World Certification Week yesterday and seeing all my coworkers’ posts about it on Slack and LinkedIn made me realize something… I really need to get our patio furniture reassembled for the season so I can work outdoors. The weather is too good now not to.

Spend this Friday the 13th with someone special.
Today was a clearcutting day for a few broadcast TV networks. NBC, CBS, and the CW took their schedules to task and Katie and I lost about three hours of programming that we watch.
Within the last half year or so, Nathan has become concerned about weather patterns. Well, basically anytime he sees storm clouds, he worries about tornadoes. I mean, we are in Tornado Alley, albeit the north end of it instead of the heart, so I understand the concern.

On Saturday, April 30, I got catfished over on my @yonduonterra Instagram account. A guy I thought I knew asked for help with something and, in the process of helping him avoid a scam, I fell victim to one.
Lynne scored the only correct guess on last week’s #MiniMoviePosterMonday and, she says, it was solely because of my clue! Yay! Someone was paying attention!

To the world, you are a mother.
To our family, you are the world.
I love Freddie Mercury. Always have and nothing will ever change that.
After nearly two decades of receiving crap charging cables from Apple for use with everything from iPods to iPads to iPhones to mice to keyboards, I had given up hope on them ever providing me with a quality cable.
I was reorganizing the fridge to make room for a large container and found these bottles on one of the shelves. No big deal. Nothing bad. Nothing expired. Rather common, really.
Oh it was a happy Star Wars Day, indeed.
For a quick second, I wasn’t sure if I was looking at an Instagram post from my local park district…
So maybe I picked a film that was too new for you all to get. I was hoping that saying “I Do enjoy this film” might help reveal the answer. Alas…
