Ugh. This month blew chunks. Who says that about July ever??

You knew it had to happen eventually, right? This was, indeed, my slow-down month. Even worse than last month, in fact. Ugh.

As a lover of music, documentary films, music memoirs, and, most importantly, the Thin White Duke himself, David Bowie, the upcoming release of Moonage Daydream makes me happy to no end. 

This makes me immeasurably happy.

Dear Mr. Gates,

I was recently made aware of your decision to actively seek to fall off the World's Richest People list and I'd like to take this opportunity to offer my services to that end. 

We’re going on vacation soon and, in preparation, have been checking out the weather in the immediate future to try to gauge what to expect.

Few things make me feel worse than loving all the creative output made by someone up to a certain point and then suddenly not liking something by them.

I don’t know if I’ve mentioned it yet or not, but Nathan and I are going to our very first comic convention on Saturday, August 6. Chicago’s venerated C2E2 (Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo) at McCormick Place downtown.

It’s like July 3 now, isn’t it? But hey, I’m on vacation. It’s a miracle I’m posting at all!
