Tu(n)esday: Anthrax…
I have been on such a thrash metal tear for the last couple of years.
It started with reading Dave Mustaine’s Rust in Peace in November 2020 all about the making of their classic album. I also listened to a lot of their music at this time.
Then I kicked in high gear with Metallica’s catalog last winter into this past spring including listening to a lot of their live albums recorded with symphony orchestra accompaniment.
A few weeks ago, I threw Anthrax into the mix listening to some old cassettes to which I recently added this…
Among the Living! Gawd, I haven’t listened to this album in so long. It needed to be done. It’s so hard to believe it’s 35 years old now.
Anthrax was always one of the best. I’ve been a Scott Ian fan for so long even following him on social media.
It feels good to be back in the fold.
I do love a bit of Megadeth. But I must admit I haven't really listened to much Anthrax. In fact, I don't think I could recognize a single song of theirs. I think I should change that.

Yeah, you gotta get a little of the non-lethal Anthrax in your life.
