My final year-in-review list! Kevin’s 7: Audio ‘22. And it almost didn’t happen because I accidentally deleted the list I had been working on all year without backing it up. Took some scrambling to remember everything, but here it goes!

I almost called a six-year-old kid an "insolent little fuck." And I would not have felt a single iota of remorse for it.

Sure, I've watched enough stuff this year to populate a list of seven TV shows and movies at least seven times over. But is it all worthy? No, not even close. Let's hope I can find enough to populate each list one time over. And with that...

I'm halfway through my Kevin's 7: Video '22 list. Really! I am! I just can't type anymore tonight and I still need to steal some accompanying images. Yadda yadda yadda.

We had absolutely no one guess last week's #MiniMoviePosterMonday challenge photo. Well, Steve did his normal goofy guess. So I suppose Die Hard wins. Although it was Love Actually.

Wow. Generally, by December 24, I'd be most of the way through my Year in Review posts. Likely have one or, at most, two posts left. This year? Um, my first post is happening on the 24th. Yikes!

At work, I head up a quarterly coffee/tea exchange where names are randomly drawn and that person sends his giftee a bag of coffee or tea up to a certain dollar value just so they can try something new.

I love when you get to that critical mass of Christmas cards received that you can start to see the people who are using the same card templates.

There was a time I thought that Elon Musk was just an eccentric genius. Incredibly talented and wealthy, but maybe a bit on the loony side. And I could forgive that. To paraphrase Norman Bates, we all go a little mad sometimes, right? 

As of about five minutes ago, I am only two books away from my 2022 reading stretch goal of 70 books on the year! And I have 11 days to finish it!

It really cracked me up how many people guessed that last week’s #MiniMoviePosterMonday photo was some variation of Scrooge from A Christmas Carol. Alas, it was Foo Fighters guitarist Pat Smear from the cover of the band’s horror film Studio 666.

One of my favorite place to browse in the world is the Withdrawn racks at our library. These are the media that have been pulled off the shelves and would wind up either as donations or dust collectors.

This Mold-a-Rama I got at Brookfield Zoo last weekend is perfect for all kinds of situations. 

I recently started taking a deeper dive into  3D printing. No, I do not own a printer. No, I do not design things to be printed. But I've gone on a Google quest to see what kinds of .stl (stereolithography) files can be found for downloading and printing.

What I said yesterday about liars? That was a lie. There is one thing worse… liars that are proven wrong who then go on to live their life like nothing happened and never acknowledge their misdeed at all.

Tonight, we break into the annual list of Katie's and my favorite holiday films. I specify "Katie's and my" because there are plenty of films we share with Nathan and expand upon that list each year as he ages. For example, we introduced National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation to him last weekend. There will be others as well.

Sadly, despite having two weeks to guess, nobody got Master Yoda’s famed visage from the cover of one of the many prequel trilogies that have been released over the years.

Every once in a while, we’ll catch our next door neighbor sitting outside smoking via our Nest doorbell cam. We’ll watch through the app as she sits there puffing and scanning her phone.

Yeah, I've been watching a little of the World Cup here and there. Although I don't really understand all that much about "World Football," I still enjoy checking it out. 

Howsabout a second batch of reviews for Jay-Mike-Fred: A Horror Compendium? I remembered a few others I've seen recently and a couple more A Nightmare on Elm Street films since the last batch of reviews. So here goes...
