Ginormity…

For a few years now, we had planned to get a new TV for our living room to upgrade from our 42” plasma to a 65” QLED for a better and larger picture. At that time, we’d move the 42” upstairs to replace our 32” LED in our bedroom.

That was the plan, anyway. We just never pulled the trigger. We couldn’t decide what we wanted for the living room and we kept receiving conflicting reports on what type of screen to get given our very bright room, so we never bought anything.

Then we saw a deal we couldn’t pass up. But it was contrary to our plan.

To be honest, it was the bedroom that needed the upgrade more. The 720p LED picture at a mere 32” was tiny and fuzzy and difficult to see easily. And with so much text on screen these days in the form of captions and displayed text messages and phone and computer screens that we constantly had to pause and get up and read, we had to jump on this… a 50” LG 4K UHD.

And it’s beautiful. Just look at the comparison…

Now

I’m blown away. Still getting used to all the settings and color stuff and the voice controlled remote and all that jazz.

I love it so much I’d almost get a 65” version of the exact TV for the living room.

That’s awesome. I can only imagine how much better it looks than 720p

It’s alarmingly crazy the update in quality.
