Nathan wanted to get a preview of what the floor would look like at C2E2 this Saturday and he came across this YouTube video from last year’s event and started watching it.

I am so proud of Nathan right now. In a matter of less than 48 hours, he and I watched five of the Halloween films.

I’ve been playing around with an app called LensFX on my iPhone to apply visual effects to some of my toy photography. I’ve used it primarily for lightning and lens flares and fog and some textures.

Today was Nathan's last day before Spring Break.

Katie is working through this weekend so she can have pretty much all of next week off with him.

I just recently looked it up online to see if there is a way to hide orders on Amazon. As Nathan has recently discovered how to access our purchase history in the iOS app, this has become necessary for future gift purchases for him.

Had a good giggle this morning while reading an article about the lack of online support for Donald Trump's calls for what amounts to a revolution if he is arrested for his hush money payments to Stormy Daniels. 

This is really crazy to me to think that someone put the work into charting all this, but this guy Shri Kapaldi took the time to set up a visualization of the 2,309 words that make up the pool from which the word game Wordle draws its daily challenges. I've spent a small amount of time over the course of the last year or so trying to memorize the algorithms that will solve the infamous Rubik's Cube.

OUR PASSES FOR C2E2 ARE FINALLY HERE!!

I don't even know why I do it since I watch absolutely zero college basketball games throughout the season. Alas, I filled out two March Madness brackets at work this year. No money; just bragging rights.

Have any of you ever owned an office chair that started sinking after a while? Yanno, you sit in it and instead of it staying at the height you designated, it literally sinks? Mine is doing that now after about 2.5 years of use. 

Nathan had some fun with one side of cousins yesterday. Fun that ended in a trip to Build-a-Bear at Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, IL.

I finally went out with my bro and saw Cocaine Bear tonight. I know I was really looking forward to it and that usually is a dangerous gamble.

For the longest time, I swore I had been a fan of Depeche Mode since their album Violator dropped. However, I recently looked up the release date (March 19, 1990) and that just doesn't jive at all. I know, for a fact, that I've been listening to them (along with The Cure and Duran Duran) since middle school, which, for me, was 1987-89. That was my personal British Invasion. So I guess that means I've been listening since the days of Music for the Masses although I've never owned that album, though I do know the songs.

Have you ever experienced a complete taste overhaul on something you've eaten just by properly identifying what it was? Like, when you had it misidentified, the taste was so bad, you couldn't stomach it. But once you realized what it truly was, it was perfectly fine?

When I first say announcements about the actors involved in the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem movie coming out in August, I really thought it was going to be another hybrid of real life and animation.

The creativity of some people just astounds me. It would be one thing to see a build of a lifesize LEGO tuna.

There’s nothing like walking back to your house after getting the mail and finding a completely random Pokémon card sitting there on your driveway.

Apparently today was the Day of Tree Felling in our neighborhood. No warning. No alerts. No notes on our door or the HOA Facebook page.
