Libroqueue 2023.04…
Well, this sucks. I scheduled this post to go live without finishing it. If you were here earlier today, you saw it half baked. Whoops. Let’s live blog the fixes, shall we?
Here’s what I planned to read in March:
- Angie Thomas' The Hate U Give
- Mariana Enriquez's Our Share of Night
- Kieron Gillen's Phonogram, vol. 2: The Singles Club
- Junji Ito's Shiver
Here’s what I actually read…
- Angie Thomas' The Hate U Give
- Katherine Morgan Schafler’s The Perfectionist’s Guide to Losing Control: A Path to Peace and Power
- Kieron Gillen's Phonogram, vol. 2: The Singles Club
- Junji Ito's Shiver
I got to nearly the 40% mark in Our Share when a new book club book was announced at work (Perfectionist’s Guide). So I stopped and read that instead. Then when I was set to go back, I realized that I was having trouble recalling what I had read and really didn’t want to. So I’m ditching it for something new.
For April, I will read/finish:
Cassandra Peterson's Yours Cruelly, Elvira: Memoirs of the Mistress of the Dark
Kate Mascarenhas' The Psychology of Time Travel
Junji Ito's Uzumaki
Brian Azzarello's Suicide Squad: Get Joker!, issues 1-3 (the full run)
Well that was just embarrassing. I’m sorry to those of you who subscribe or just happened upon this post and saw the unfinished product. Yikes.
I should probably unschedule tomorrow’s post while I’m thinking about it. Or finish it now. Which is more likely to happen knowing what you know about me?
