Libroqueue 2023.05…
I love those months where, for the first 15-20 days, you only finish one book. And you start to sweat about achieving your goal. Then, bam bam bam bam bam… you hammer out five books in the final 10 days without even batting your eyebrows. Goal achieved. Actually, goal surpassed!
Here’s what I planned to read in April:
- Cassandra Peterson's Yours Cruelly, Elvira: Memoirs of the Mistress of the Dark
- Kate Mascarenhas' The Psychology of Time Travel
- Junji Ito's Uzumaki
- Brian Azzarello's Suicide Squad: Get Joker!, issues 1-3
Here’s what I actually read…
- Cassandra Peterson's Yours Cruelly, Elvira: Memoirs of the Mistress of the Dark
- Junji Ito's Uzumaki
- Brian Azzarello's Suicide Squad: Get Joker!, issues 1-3
- Aja Frost’s Work-From-Home Hacks: 500+ Easy Ways To Get Organized, Stay Productive and Maintain a Work-Life Balance While Working From Home!
- Zoje Stage’s Mothered: A Novel
- Lindy West’s Shit, Actually: The Definitive, 100% Objective Guide to Modern Cinema
I just couldn’t get into The Psychology of Time Travel so I stopped and picked up Mothered instead. But six instead of four? I’ll take it!
For May, I will read:
Cliff Chiang’s Catwoman: Lonely City, issues 1-4…
Jeff Lemire’s Swamp Thing: Green Hell, issues 1-3…
Regine M. Gilbert’s Inclusive Design for a Digital World: Designing with Accessibility in Mind…
Silvia Moreno Garcia’s The Daughter of Doctor Moreau…
Ben Rock & Bob Derosa’s Catchers…
Stay tuned to see how this goes.
