Tuck...
I guess I shouldn't be surprised that Tucker Carlson "parted ways" with FOX News. His resume of late has been nothing much more than propagating conspiracy theories and bald-faced lies. And, mind you, I'm no Democrat... or Republican. But whatever.
I was trying to suss out how long he had been at FOX and Googled his name. It's amazing to me both how quickly his Wikipedia page was updated with his employment status and how quickly that information update was rendering out on Google featured search results. Wow! Within an hour.
Then I started reading his Wikipedia profile and got a couple of laughs.
At the tail end of the Early Life and Education section, I read, "After college, Carlson tried to join the Central Intelligence Agency, but his application was denied, after which he decided to pursue a career in journalism with the encouragement of his father, who advised him that "they'll take anybody".
Maybe I'm crazy, but that's not exactly a glowing endorsement from his father, now is it?
Then there's the very first line of the next section, Media Career, that reads, "Carlson began his career in journalism as a fact-checker for Policy Review", a national conservative journal.
Wait? WHAT???? A fact checker? Tucker Carlson??
And Kevin was all...
Gotta admit that I'm really getting tired of how often the people who are supposed to deliver the news are becoming the news.
