18...

Guess what... my blog can legally vote as of today! Yup, I've been on the Typepad platform for 18 years now since after making the choice to ditch my manually-coded HTML weblog that I'd been running since 1998 (the contents of which I migrated here about a decade or so ago).

Here you can read my first Typepad blog post (it's actually dated the 19th; today must be the anniversary of signing up and getting my first design established).

This, however, is the first online post I ever wrote, dated March 15, 1998.

So, yeah, 18 years at Typepad (25 years writing online in total). Here's hoping my blog doesn't vote for bad candidates.
