D&D…

Nathan signed up for a beginner’s Dungeons & Dragons class through our park district and it was held today. The plan was to drop him off and then Katie and I go work out for a while (we signed up for the gym finally).

When we got there, the guy running it asked if I wanted to stick around. I informed him that I was told I couldn’t because it was a course for kids. He said he didn’t care.

I stayed.

The guy gave us some basics and then just started right into a simple campaign and we did our thing.

We completed this and one other campaign over the three-hour class and it was fun. Nathan enjoyed it and wants to go back but not before we drop by the guy’s store and check out some starter kits and maybe play a little on our own.

As the store owner, I’m sure that’s why he does it anyway.
