We bought this a couple years ago and it’s been collecting dust. Katie has wanted to take up crochet as a replacement for knitting but just hasn’t had the time. That and she’s obsessed with reaching her reading goal of 100 books for the year (she’s already past 60 so I don’t see it being an issue).

A coworker of mine is really good at crochet and she recommended some YouTube tutorials so I may give it a go. She says it’s really simple once you get the hang of it (isn’t everything?).

But there are so many cool amigurumi designs out there that I feel this is kind of a natural extension of my toy love.
