When you read these two blog titles chronologically (bottom first), you’d swear Dave2 and I planned this all out.

Oh, the crap you find when you clean out old storage containers.
I fought against doing it. I really fought. They asked, I said no. They asked again, multiple times, and I said no each time.

FOUND ‘EM!!
In this household, we watch women’s soccer. Sure we may catch an odd men’s game here and there, but we will search to watch women’s matches. It’s just always been this way.
My wife just informed me that the wait for the Mario Kart 3D ride at Universal Studios Hollywood is only about 75 minutes!
The only thing that would make this more true is if he was aiming his iPhone at the skies to take pictures of the funnel clouds.
I was logged into MoviesAnywhere tonight so I could watch some snippets of movies. If you don’t know, MoviesAnywhere is kind of an aggregator of digital content. Using it, I can view all digital copies of movies I’ve purchased through Apple, Vudu, Prime, and many more. This also includes movies I got via free digital download cards included with DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K physical discs we’ve bought over the years.
This has to be one of the funniest things I’ve read in a while… remote work will lead to goblin-human hybrids by the year 2100?
I love it when people can have a sense of humor about when things don’t happen their way instead of being reactive and spiteful.
I think I may try crochet.
Very briefly tonight, we had tornado sirens sound near our house. They ended almost immediately and all the storm clouds blew past.
Wanna hear something trippy? Nathan just randomly decided to start watching the old 80s sitcom ALF. And he’s digging it.
I actually got one of my books done! It’s the one I’d been reading for longer. About a month, in fact.
Remember how I said I was going to fix a leak in our washing machine? I never quite got around to it and, hindsight being 20/20, I’m glad I didn’t.

I love Nathan. Really. Truly. The kid cracks me up. Sometimes it’s intentional on his part. Sometimes it’s by pure accident.
Why am I having trouble maintaining consistent focus on the two non-graphic-novel books I’m committed to finish reading this month?
I made it through the month of June having consumed no more than three sips of soda… all were just to test the soda to make sure they were either mixed correctly or not flat before giving them to Katie or Nathan.
I love movies.
I love action adventure.
I love shoot-em-ups.
I love (to some degree) violence in films.
I love Keanu Reeves.
Happy birthday, 'Murica. You're not at all the country I was raised in or led to believe is a big, beautiful home that is open to all. Instead, you're quickly becoming a morass of violence, hate, bigotry, and just general ill will.

I get that TV shows get canceled. It's a way of life in that business. What I don't get is this new "thing" that streaming services are doing where they not only cancel a show, but remove it entirely from their service so it can never be viewed again (legally).

I know we signed Nathan up for saxophone and summer band camp and all the accoutrements the other day (and paid the bill), but it wasn’t until Amazon made a delivery today that it really started to feel real…
Nothing quite like a vacation to make you feel like you skipped half the month!
