Libroqueue 2023.09…
I didn’t commit to as many books in August as I normally would or that I would need to read to make my annual goal (five per month) if not for the fact that I was already way ahead.
Here’s what I planned to read in August:
- Sarah Penner’s The London Séance Society
- Ryu Murakami’s In the Miso Soup
- Kieron Gillen’s Star Wars: Doctor Aphra, vol. 1
- Daniel Kraus’ Whalefall
Here’s what I actually read…
- Sarah Penner’s The London Séance Society
- Ryu Murakami’s In the Miso Soup
- Kieron Gillen’s Star Wars: Doctor Aphra, vol. 1
- Daniel Kraus’ Whalefall
Four books planned, four books read.
For September, I plan to read:
Sunyi Dean’s The Book Eaters
Emma Törzs’ Ink Blood Sister Scribe
Junji Ito’s Tomie
Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips’ Night Fever
Jeff Lemire and Dustin Nguyen’s Little Monsters, vol. 2
Back to five a month. If Tomie wasn’t 700 pages, I’d probably have more titles on the list. Alas…
