Listening to Matthew Perry’s memoir Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing makes me so happy I’ve never personally had to deal with the sort of addiction Perry faced.

We knew he was a mess. But I don’t think anybody truly knew just how bad it was unless you lived alongside him every day.

I can’t even begin to imagine.

RIP, Matty.
