First, the combined fifth grade bands from all six elementary schools in our town came together and played three songs. This was Nate’s crew and they sounded great!

Next up was the combined seventh grade bands from our two middle schools who played two songs and also sounded fantastic.

The high school had two different bands that played both separately and together for a few songs and they were awesome.

But what impressed me most was when all four bands, or, technically, 10 bands, came together to play the fight song of our local high school.

I really hope Nate sticks with band. He’s good at it! He’s shown immense growth in a mere eight months and it’s something he seems to enjoy.
