Fireclean…

In anticipation of the plumber coming in to check out the leak in our utility closet, I decided to do some cleaning of the house. But since I was also working, I had to implement what I call “firecleaning.”

This concept involves taking several 10-15 quick breaks throughout the day and just rushing around getting stuff done. I never focus on one thing but get little bits of several tasks done at once to add up to larger overall task completion.

I cleaned up our upstairs hallway, folded all our laundry, dusted our master bedroom, swapped loads from washer to dryer (since I can’t start a new washer load with the water shut off), cleaned the kitchen, cleaned two bathrooms, cleared out the utility closet for the plumber, and even did a little kitchen restocking.

I don’t think I spent more than an hour overall cleaning. And our place looks great. It’s not perfect, but it’s a strong move in the right direction.

It’s always fun to discover that you have a leaky pipe in your house causing damage to lord only knows what. Yup. I was getting ready to start my day when I heard a dripping sound in the utility closet...

I really love how Disney+ tied in their menu section naming to the release of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) on their service. They have a section for each of her albums. I think I like 1989 best.
