Just a quick step-by-step process of a photo I created today that will be posted next weekend.
Four weeks in on that Stranger Things puzzle and we haven’t even been able to complete the border. There are too many pieces that have the exact same coloration and even the same fit. So we’d think we were making progress only to undo what we worked on. We just were not enjoying it.

Kevin’s Brick Garage is expanding! 11 LEGO Speed Champions with two waiting in the wings to be built.
I’m stealing this gem of a meme from Dave2 who stole it from somewhere on Bookface. Basically, give yourself a point for each thing you DID NOT do.

As part of Nathan’s Spielbergian education, today we finished Jaws and Ready Player One.
A power outage due to a really bad storm or an accident or something tangible is one thing.
Tonight, Nathan actually acquiesced (without much cajoling, mind you) to watching E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial with us! He’d seen it before a few years ago and hated it. Absolutely hated it. He always claimed that E.T’s guttural whine freaked him out.

Go figure that Nathan is spending the night with his cousins at my parents’ house and there is absolutely zilch in theaters that Katie and I want to go see. Nothing even that we’d want to go re-watch.
About a year ago, I decide to try watching Star Wars: The Clone Wars, the animated series started back in about 2008 by Dave Filoni, the man behind all the Star Wars series on Disney+ and the man putting together the next movie in the franchise.
Why do I always let my heart get in the way of common sense when it comes to the University of Kentucky Wildcats during the March Madness? I always pick them to do decently — not necessarily win it all — and then they do something stupid like this… in the first round…

For the first time ever, all three of us here filled out an NCAA men’s basketball bracket.

HOLY CRAP! Star Wars: The Acolyte already sounded amazing in concept. Now that the trailer for the upcoming Disney+ series has dropped, it looks amazing as well!!
My nextdoor neighbor had her car towed today from her driveway… for a flat tire…
In a move that will hopefully resound throughout the league and all women’s professional sports, CPKC Stadium opened today as the new home of women’s professional soccer team Kansas City Current. And it’s pretty swank…
The hole in the ceiling is bigger.
And we’re out $746.
I really love how Disney+ tied in their menu section naming to the release of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) on their service.
In anticipation of the plumber coming in to check out the leak in our utility closet, I decided to do some cleaning of the house. But since I was also working, I had to implement what I call “firecleaning.”

It’s always fun to discover that you have a leaky pipe in your house causing damage to lord only knows what.
It has been a good five years since I’ve read a Star Wars book. Back when I was reviewing books for GeeksofDoom.com, I became the de facto Star Wars book reviewer and, with how often they are published, I got burned out QUICK.

This new Live Voicemail feature on iOS is trippy. To be honest, I completely forgot it existed until today when I decided I didn’t want to answer a call, ignored it, and then watched as the voicemail they were leaving was transcribed (poorly) right before my eyes.

After trying four times previously and failing to do so, tonight I finally managed to sit down and make it all the way through the fifth and final (?) Indiana Jones film, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.
Have any of you fellow iPhone users notice that the contextual menus have changed when you tap and hold on an app icon?
Yaaayyyyyyyy!!!! Tonight, Katie and I booked our flights to and from Vancouver in May.

On a previous post, I shared the 1980s Decades puzzle we recently finished. In the comments, Marty mentioned, “That yellow Sony Walkman looks a lot like the one you have.”

I have now surpassed nine months soda free.
I know CeraVe is kind of a big deal in the skin care industry. I’ve seen their products on shelves, I’ve seen ads, and whatnot else. But once they got in bed with that creepy healthy skin lusting Michael Cera (C’mon! Ya gotta admit it really is a whole lotta Buffalo Bill from The Silence of the Lambs going on there), I swore, “Never again!”
Each night, before I am to show up for jury duty, I’m supposed to call a number and see if they need. Each night.
This puzzle took us a bit longer than the first. I don’t think we were as into it as the 90s one.

Another month in the history books. Let’s see how the goals went.
