We get so many power outages here in Utah. And for that reason, I always have my computers on UPS devices. APC and Cyberpower have kept me connected and up and running for hours.

It’s rare here and, when they do happen, they’re less than a minute. Generally just a few seconds.

The rare here is Utah doesn't have power lines buried under ground so most storms can knock out our power for a good 20 mins or sometimes longer. It has been a good 4 months since the last power outage.
