Mapped…
I know Apple has been working pretty hard to integrate apps on their devices so that they communicate back and forth and share information.
Like when you’re logging into an app with two factor authentication (2FA) and you can simply tap a button in the chrome that pulls in the code that is texted or emailed to you (SMS still works better in this front). Or you’re setting up an appointment in Calendar and it pulls data from an emailed confirmation. That sort of thing.
Earlier this week, I saw an integration that I have never seen in action before. I was looking in Apple Maps to see what the turn was for a Fun Run Nate was taking part in at school when this showed up…
It knew based on time where we were likely headed and put the location and event name right on the map where it should be.
Now that’s cool!
I’m easily impressed.
That is pretty cool. I need to be better at using Apple Maps vs. Google Maps. Sometimes it's all too easy to load Google Maps.

So many people complain about Apple
maps being glitchy and giving wrong directions but I’ve only had that happen once. I use it religiously.

Like you said above, Apple Maps had some direction issues but that was back in 2012 if I recall the year.

Some people make it sound like it’s ongoing.
