Closed…
Nothing like being the last ones to leave a theater at closing time. Yeah, we did that tonight when Katie and I went to see The Fall Guy with my brother and his wife.
We were at the end of the show and they turned up the house lights before we even got through all the end credit sequences and stinger scenes. Might be a sign.
We got out into the hallway and the lights were low and you could hear our voices echo and no one else was anywhere to be seen. Yup, likely a sign.
We got out into the lobby and the refreshment stand and ticket booths were completely dark and one employee sat there with his head in his hands bored to tears waiting for us. Definitely a sign.
Yikes! I’m not sure we’ve ever done that before. We’ve left late from theaters and.or walked out with other groups from what were likely last shows of the night. But to be the ONLY ones holding up the closing? That’s something new. And kinda creepy.
Its been years since I have been at a theater where it was closing time. How was the The Fall Guy?

When we streamed it a few weeks ago, I didn’t care much for it. But up on the big screen, it was a lot of fun.

I am hoping to catch it on the big screen here soon.

It’s basically gone here now. It came out a few months ago here.

Oh. I had thought it was still playing at a couple of theaters here, but it's gone. Guess it's streaming for me.

It definitely works well on the big screen.
