Libroqueue 2024.07…

I had a good month with reading. Started strong, slowed down but remained consistent in the middle, and finished relatively well.

In June, I intended to read:

  • Kevin J. Anderson’s Star Wars: Tales of the Bounty Hunters
  • Pierre Boulle’s Planet of the Apes
  • Desiree S. Evans’s The Black Girl Survives This One
  • George R.R. Martin and Ben Avery’s The Mystery Knight
  • Geoff John’s Junkyard Joe

And I actually read:

  • Kevin J. Anderson’s Star Wars: Tales of the Bounty Hunters
  • Pierre Boulle’s Planet of the Apes
  • Desiree S. Evans’s The Black Girl Survives This One
  • George R.R. Martin and Ben Avery’s The Mystery Knight
  • Geoff John’s Junkyard Joe
  • Nunzio DeFilippis’ The Tomb
  • Paul Davidson’s Company of Foos

So all five of my planned reads plus two more for good measure! This brings me to 37 of my 60 book annual goal.

My goal for July will be:

  • Michael Harriett’s Black AF History: The Un-Whitewashed Story of America
  • Tori Bovalino’s The Gathering Dark
  • Gabriel Bá, Becky Cloonan, Vasilis Lolo, and Fábio Moon’s Pixu: The Mark of Evil
  • Ian Rankin’s Dark Entries: A John Constantine Novel
  • Emilia Clarke, Marguerite Bennett, and Leila Leiz’s MOM: Mother of Madness, volume 1
