To that ends, I’m focusing on one story that matters… the passing of actress Shannen Doherty at 53 after a decade-long battle with both breast and brain cancer.

I know she’s in a better place. I know she’s not in pain anymore. But it doesn’t make it suck any less.

Not that I was a huge fan of Shannen, but I grew up with Beverly Hills 90210 and enjoyed the first season or two of it and I respected her. Her characters through the years had some fire to them and that made them interesting. She had fire to her and that made her interesting.

But two different forms of cancer on the same body? What kind of brutal crap is that? No one deserves that.

I guess if nothing else, we can rest knowing that Dylan and Brenda are back together and nothing will ever tear them apart.
