And now I know why my Fitbit/iPhone sync isn’t working… Google is killing off the physical Fitbit devices in favor of supporting their own Pixel watches.
But they’re keeping the Fitbit brand alive (for now).
That’s typical.
Stupid freaking Google.

I don't remember the last time I used a Fitbit. I had so many die on me over the course of my wearing them. I've been Apple Watch since then and never looked back.

This Fitbit I was wearing until yesterday has lived for six years now. After all the short lived ones I had before that (never past a year), the fact this one is still alive is unheard of. I’m not yet interested in an Apple Watch. While I’m upset my Fitbit battery has lost a couple days per charge over the years, it still currently holds its charge two days longer than a brand new Apple Watch. Given how much Apple Watches cost, their battery life is inexcusable.
