I love getting great candid photos of my two favorite people. This one came from a late lunch we had at PF Chang’s this past Saturday.

I love being able to pick up withdrawn books from my local library. I especially love doing that with graphic novels. But I hate when the graphic novel that I find and get excited about reading turns out to be from the middle of a series I have not read nor have access to right away. That happened with the Star Wars graphic novel I threw on my list to read this month. It’s the fourth book in a series. Ugh. Stupid library stickers covering the volume number.

Jacks

I never got to share the jack-o-lanterns we carved/painted for Halloween last week. This first one is a real pumpkin that I covered in green acrylic paint, glued on googly eyes, and affixed with Katie’s witch hat from a couple Halloweens ago. It’s our own little Elphaba!

These two are just a standard jack-o-lantern I carved (you gotta have a classic) and a Chucky pumpkin Nate painted. He did a good job!
