Snowy…
Let’s mark it, folks. November 21 is the first actual and measurable snowfall in Chicagoland for 2024.
It was fairly light overnight. We only got maybe a quarter inch. But it ramped up throughout the morning and, by shortly after lunch time, we had about three inches of the stuff. It was actually whiteout conditions when I went out at lunch.
Of course, it warmed up enough later in the afternoon that most of it is now gone. But it was certainly pretty while it lasted.
Note that this picture was taken at about 7:30 a.m. after the minor overnight snowfall.
That is how our snow here in Salt Lake has been. Although the mountains above the 6000 ft level has snow.
