Bravia

Two hangings, a re-centering of the bracket, two operating system updates, a Roku configuration, a redo of the Roku configuration, two new cable orders, eight streaming account logins, three external device hookups, and four hours of work later and our new 75” Sony Bravia 3 TV is up and running and beautiful.

It has an amazing picture, great sound, works beautifully with our soundbar once we bought an optical audio cable (one of our two cable purchases since the TV did not have RCA outputs), and Mario Kart 8 looks freaking phenomenal on it.

Wicked looks and sounds great on it!

And it’s so much bigger than what we had before.

The old plasma…

The new Bravia…

And we got it all done both before the sound completely blew out of the Samsung plasma and Trump’s import tariffs kick in. Yay us!

Dear Sony, For what we pay for your products, our new Bravia TV for example, a five-foot power cable just ain’t gonna cut it. Now we can’t use our new TV until a replacement cable arrives from Amazon sometime tomorrow....

Of course, should have just waited and read all your recent posts before commenting.

That TV is amazing. I had a Sony TV years ago and loved it. While not immediately in the market for a new TV I do like hearing about what everyone has.

kapgar

It’s good. Really loving it so far.

My next TV will be a Sony Bravia. Most likely 55 inch. I have a 43 inch Samsung and it's horrible in so many ways. Interface, slow reaction to button pressings. And only 2 HDMI ports.

kapgar

Oh the two HDMI ports kills me. Why would any company do that these days??
