Withdrawn

I’m tellin’ y’all, I love the withdraw rack at our library.

Katie and a coworker have been discussing a book for a while and he keeps meaning to buy a copy. Tonight, she found that very book on the withdraw rack for $2.

Me? I found the following for $1 each.

I’ve read Saga vol. 1 several times but this is the first time I’ve owned a copy. Maybe it will prompt me to pick the series back up. I don’t think I’ve read any of it since it went on its xxx-year-long hiatus.

Squirrel Girl, aka Doreen Green was an interesting addition to the Marvel teen hero lineup at about the same time we saw the rise of Spider-Man/Miles Morales, Ghost Spider/Gwen Stacy, America Chavez, Ironheart/Riri Williams, and Miss Marvel/Kamala Khan. I read the first issue of her run but never kept going. Maybe if I make it through an entire volume, it will click.

Trese is something completely new to me. It just looked and sounded really interesting. Yes, I always judge books by their covers… and graphic novels by their interior art as well.

We shall see!
