Paradise

Are you watching Paradise on Hulu? I’d heard about it because it stars Sterling K. Brown and James Marsden, both of whom I like as actors. And I knew it was a political thriller where Brown is a Secret Service agent on President Marsden’s detail. And there is a murder.

What I didn’t know was… EVERYTHING ELSE!

I’m only two episodes in and my jaw has hung open for longer than I expected it to.

I can’t say anything without ruining secrets of the show, but dang.

I will warn you that the first episode is brutally slow for the first 75%. To the point where I wasn’t sure if I would be able to stay awake and might, thus, give up on it.

But the final 25% of that episode made up for it.

Here’s hoping it retains the intrigue it has conveyed so far. It’s entirely possible it will just suck rocks from here on out. But I hope not. Sincerely.
