FSA

I submitted a receipt to my Flex Spending Account (FSA) provider a couple days ago for some healthcare goodies I bought OTC that should be covered.

I submitted three photos of the receipt: one full image, one closeup of the top half, and one close up of the bottom half. It was a long receipt. Not CVS long, but still long.

Yesterday, I got an email from them in the morning that the receipt needed to be resubmitted. No explanation as to what was wrong. And there is no way for me to ask what was wrong as there is no way to comment or leave notes in a claim. So I took a new photo and submitted it.

Six hours later, I got another notification of a receipt being needed. This time, in utter frustration, I typed up a message in Notes on my phone, screen capped it, and submitted it. You can see it in the bottom middle of the screen cap below.

It’s my frakking money! Give it back to me, you penny-pinching pricks!

If they ask again, I might just go Andy Warhol pop art on my photo submission.
