W-POP

In what I can only classify as the coolest announcement from Funko in a long time, they are releasing a first wave of POP figurines for the WNBA!

The first wave, now available for preorder, includes Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark

and (my personal fave) Chicago Sky asskicker Angel Reese!

Oh yeah, I’m all about the Angel POP!

Honestly, though, they all look phenomenal.

But there is one thing that bugs me… why do they have two figurines from one team in a single wave?? There are now 13 teams in the league and some amazing athletes on all of them. And the fact that they overlooked Minnesota Lynx superstar and Unrivaled co-founder Napheesa Collier so they could include a mascot really irks me.

There had better be a wave two soon and Phee had damn well better be in there along with others like Chelsea Gray and Brittney Sykes among many others.

Keep this line going, Funko!
