We went to see the actual play earlier in the year when it came to town, and it was excellent. We'd put off watching the movie until we'd seen it live in the flesh. Movie was also ridiculously good, really enjoyed it.

My wife and I saw the musical in Chicago a couple times like 20 years ago with SNL’s Ana Gasteyer playing Elphaba. She was fantastic!
