We had absolutely no one guess last week's #MiniMoviePosterMonday challenge photo. Well, Steve did his normal goofy guess. So I suppose Die Hard wins. Although it was Love Actually.

It really cracked me up how many people guessed that last week’s #MiniMoviePosterMonday photo was some variation of Scrooge from A Christmas Carol. Alas, it was Foo Fighters guitarist Pat Smear from the cover of the band’s horror film Studio 666.

Sadly, despite having two weeks to guess, nobody got Master Yoda’s famed visage from the cover of one of the many prequel trilogies that have been released over the years.

So I messed up the normal routine for Macro Monday last week… I completely forgot to crosspost it to Facebook. And since I received no correct guesses (and am feeling a bit lazy), I’m gonna keep it going for another week.

There are supposed to be 52 weeks in the year, translating to 52 Macro Monday posts. Here we are in the final week of November and I'm only up to post #40? Yeah, I've missed a few here and there, haven't I? 

Unfortunately, there was no love for Simon last week as no one guessed the challenge photo.

I know it’s been a couple weeks. Blog issues and all that jazz. So here’s the triumphant re-re-re-re-return of Macro Monday for 2022. Let’s see if I can keep it going thru the end of the year. Think it’ll happen? Nah, me neither.

I’m late posting this. I told myself I wasn’t going to bother. Wait till next week, perhaps. But then I decided I wanted to. Date be damned.

I got so excited when someone new came forward with a correct guess on last week’s challenge photo. Then I looked on Facebook to confirm and someone else guessed there a few hours earlier. Stupid Facebook.

My friend Chelsey chimed in very quickly after last week’s #MiniMoviePosterMonday dropped with the correct answer.

So maybe I picked a film that was too new for you all to get. I was hoping that saying “I Do enjoy this film” might help reveal the answer. Alas…

I noticed only tonight that Stef popped in there with a partial guess of “Spider-Man 7.” While definitely not the full title, or even the right film number, it was the closest legit guess so it wins.
