That’s a kid of twenties in that title, ain’t it, folks? Almost halfway through the year. Unfortunately, though, last week’s challenge photo didn’t garner any guesses. 

Nicole L. nailed last week's #MiniMusicMonday challenge photo with her guess of Nirvana's In Utero. There were others who guessed it, but she did it first and best. 

Christa returns with the correct guess on last week’s #MiniMusicMonday of Mariah Carey. Woo! She’s now tied with her hubby, Steve... I think. Y’all are gonna make me count them up, aren’t you?

My old friend Christa nailed last week’s challenge photo. This, combined with her previous two correct guesses puts her in top contention so far this year.

Another week, another no-guess #MiniMusicMonday. It makes me sad but I’m worrying that maybe this has overstayed its welcome. Perhaps I wrap up this year and then find a new photo challenge. 

As I stated on Instagram, sadly, but not surprisingly, no one got last week’s #MiniMusicMonday. It’s not a well-known album by my gents at The Urge Overkill.

Man oh man, Christa was all over last week’s #MiniMusicMonday like white on rice. And much like her husband, Steve, she posted on both Instagram and Facebook to make sure I knew she was first. 

My buddy Kevin Spencer was quickest to the draw on last week’s #MiniMusicMonday with an A-ha album I picked up a little more than a week ago. Scoundrel Days... damn fine album. 

It was another of my favorite types of photo finishes on #MiniMusicMonday. Eric edged out Stephen by a hair with Van Halen 5150.

I love when two people chime in with the correct answer to #MiniMusicMonday in short order. Means y’all enjoy and get this little game of mine. My buddy Eric edged out Marty by about an hour. 

My buddy Stephen H. nailed last week’s #MiniMusicMonday with little to no effort. 

Sadly, no one got this past week’s #minimusicmonday challenge photo. Such a damn fine album, too. 

Several people did get the latest #MiniMusicMonday eye photo correct. I’ll never understand how you all guess eyeballs so easily. I don’t think I ever could. Anyway, it was my buddy Eric who got it first. 

First negative: Nobody got the challenge photo from last week. I really thought someone would. 

The winning guess on last week’s #minimusicmonday was my old college chum, Meggan. She nailed it with the only Black Crowes guess. 

There may have been a tie with #minimusicmonday last week. It might have been Steve B or it could have been Marty M. I’m declaring BOTH!

So I didn't exactly start #minimusicmonday on a high note (heh heh). As it turns out, the art I presented last week as a challenge photo has been used on two albums. As a result of this mistake, I'm giving credit to two people for guessing it "correctly."

When I started #MiniMusicMonday last year, not only did I never fathom it would make it to year two, I never even thought I’d make it half a year. But this is fun! So here goes 2020!

THE LAST #MINIMUSICMONDAY OF 2019!!! Don’t worry, it’s coming back next year. I’m having too much fun with this. The penultimate challenge photo was guessed correctly by Marty Mankins, for the record.

Many, many people posited many, many guesses and many, many of them were correct. Actually, they were all correct. Lots of people knew this challenge photo. In all fairness, it's a pretty damn fine album.

I was pretty impressed that my old friend Harley nailed last week’s #MiniMusicMonday. It was, indeed, Collective Soul. 

My Pitchfork buddy, Eric, was Johnny on the Spot with last week’s #MiniMusicMonday. 

Last week’s rocker was very easily and quickly guessed by Eve (@empresseve on IG). Yup, Ozzy!

Sadly, nobody cobbled together the correct answer to last week’s Challenge Photo for #MiniMusicMonday. It’s one of my all-time favorites as well. 

Despite my concerns over the possibility that the cassette I owned was an alternate cover, it was still correctly guessed, and quickly at that. Again, by Steve B. 

Steve B. is kinda rockin’ it lately with the correct #MiniMusicMonday. And he’s back again with this past week’s response.

My friend, Eric P (because I apparently have a lot of friends named Eric who need to be distinguished by a surname initial) got it with a partial guess on FB that demonstrated enough knowledge that I’m giving it to him. 

Man! Kevin Spencer nailed it with his guess on last week’s #MiniMusicMonday! Nine inches worth of nailing, in fact. And didn’t I tell you yesterday’s post would make my choice of subject make that much more sense?
