My friend Stacy hacked and slashed through all the other guesses to win last week’s #MiniMoviePosterMonday.
Just another Macro Monday, oh OH oh ohhh.
I’m late posting this. I told myself I wasn’t going to bother. Wait till next week, perhaps. But then I decided I wanted to. Date be damned.
My buddy Stephen nailed last week’s #MiniMoviePosterMonday with the classic Some Like It Hot.
I got so excited when someone new came forward with a correct guess on last week’s challenge photo. Then I looked on Facebook to confirm and someone else guessed there a few hours earlier. Stupid Facebook.
My friend Chelsey chimed in very quickly after last week’s #MiniMoviePosterMonday dropped with the correct answer.
So maybe I picked a film that was too new for you all to get. I was hoping that saying “I Do enjoy this film” might help reveal the answer. Alas…
I noticed only tonight that Stef popped in there with a partial guess of “Spider-Man 7.” While definitely not the full title, or even the right film number, it was the closest legit guess so it wins.
My buddy Steve dug deep — like hand-into-your-chest-and-removing-your-heart deep — to get last week’s challenge photo.
It was Christa with the win again on last week’s challenge photo.
Sorry it’s been two weeks since I posited the most recent #MiniMoviePosterMonday challenge photo. Vacation, yanno?
My friend Chelsey was first (and only) with the correct guess on last week’s #MiniMoviePosterMonday with the THX-remastered The Return of the Jedi.
My old college buddy, Steve, was Pitch Perfect in his guess on last week’s #MiniMoviePosterMonday.
Apparently, last week’s #MiniMoviePosterMonday was very popular. At least a half dozen correct guesses across the big three platforms. I like it! But Stacey S was the winner.
Christa chimes in for a second consecutive week with the correct guess on #MiniMoviePosterMonday with Hotel Transylvania 3.
Lots of people guessed it, but Christa was first with An Affair to Remember.
By this point in the year, I’m fairly sure I’ve posted Macro Monday photos more on Tuesday than on the day I should be. Oh well.
Sure, nobody guessed last week’s #MiniMoviePosterMonday but I had participation. And that will always be better than a zero-guess challenge photo.
Hey! It wouldn’t be me if Macro Monday photos didn’t happen on Tuesdays every once in a while. Don’t worry, if I renamed it Macro Tuesday, it would happen on Wednesday. So we deal with it and move on.
I am going to have to do another split win for last week’s #MiniMoviePosterMonday challenge photo. Both Stacey and Matt correctly guessed Forgetting Sarah Marshall and I have no idea who was first.
I’m always disappointed that more people aren’t on the Fletch bandwagon. Alas, only two correct guesses that I saw. That movie deserves so much more credit and appreciation than it seems to have.
Sorry about this being late. I just wasn’t feeling like taking a photo last night. I was comfy in bed when I remembered I needed to snap it and… well…
My Sister-in-Law Jen got the final #minimoviepostermonday challenge photo of 2021 with Last Christmas.
Just as things were picking up, I get a challenge photo with no guesses. Well, other than Steve’s standard James Bond guess. I guess they’re both “spy” flicks.
I had so many people guessing on last week’s #MiniMoviePosterMonday challenge photo… Speed, Taking of Pelham 1-2-3, Polar Express, anything with a train basically.
I know I’ve been talking about quitting #MiniMoviePosterMonday. But, the more I think about it, the more I think I may just keep it going. I’m actually considering cross posting to a Cinephiles channel in my work Slack.
I got a new winner on #MiniMoviePosterMonday this past week. It was my coworker Chelsey with Disney’s The Princess and the Frog. Great movie, BTW. One of my more recent faves.
Despite giving up daily blogging, I was actually doing pretty good through October posting semi-regularly. Then November happened. Let's just pretend it didn't. Suffice it to say, I have only one post between the last Macro Monday and this one. I actually thought I didn't have any so that one was a pleasant surprise. Anyway.
I’m happy to report I had two correct guesses last week and a few expressions of anger over not having guessed it on time.
Congratulations to Holly W. for her correct guess on last week’s #MiniMoviePosterMonday with V for Vendetta.
Matt chimed in with the only correct guess on this past week’s challenge photo. I thought it would be easier seeing as I posted it on Dia de los Muertos. But alas…
I’m in shock no one got Beauty and the Beast. I thought the swatch of blue and yellow combined would be a dead giveaway. Alas, no.
Ah crud. Another one of those weeks where I missed whose guess came in first and timestamps on FB and IG are so uninformative they may as well be nonexistent. Sooooo, Matt and Stacey both win!
I guess I should apologize to my Facebook fans because I forgot to post last week’s challenge photo there. I still got plenty of guesses and correct ones at that.
Back to Monday! Although the urgency of only having six days to guess clearly didn’t motivate any correct guesses. Booger.
